The ADVANTEC Unternehmensgruppe, headquartered in Werne in the Ruhr region, specializes in mining and tunnel construction. The group comprises the business divisions Hydraulics, Tunnel and Mining Solution (with ADVANTEC Tunnel and Mining Solution GmbH) and Industrial Service. In the Hydraulics division, cylinders and pistons are manufactured in standard and custom sizes; piston diameters from 12 millimeters to more than 1,800 millimeters are produced directly in-house at the company's own plant, with further custom sizes produced in partnership. All designs are engineered in-house. The portfolio includes, among other things, the company's own partial-face cutting machines (roadheaders), which can be used in rock with a compressive strength of more than 110 MPa, as well as underground dumpers such as the K313S. The Industrial Service division carries out installation, commissioning, maintenance, quality control and on-site maintenance worldwide. In addition, the group offers general overhaul and modernization of underground machines including recertification. The hydraulic cylinders meet common certifications, including ISO 9001.
