About the ADVANTEC Unternehmensgruppe
The ADVANTEC Unternehmensgruppe (ADVANTEC Group), based in Werne in the Ruhr region, consists of three companies: ADVANTEC Hydraulik GmbH, ADVANTEC Tunnel and Mining Solution GmbH and ADVANTEC Industrial Service GmbH. The group develops and manufactures hydraulic cylinders and pistons in standard and special sizes with piston diameters from 12 mm to over 1,500 mm in its own plant. Its second pillar is roadheaders (partial-face cutting machines) of the TDR series (Tunnel Digging Roadheader), which weigh more than 100 tonnes depending on the type and can work rock formations with a compressive strength of more than 110 MPa. The portfolio is complemented by Industrial Service with worldwide deployment for assembly, repair, maintenance and general overhaul of machines including recertification. Development, design and production take place centrally at the Werne plant; the machines use hydraulic equipment from in-house production. Customers come from mining, tunnelling, industry, commerce and municipalities.
