About AEG ID

AEG Identifikationssysteme GmbH (AEG ID) develops and produces RFID components in the LF, HF and UHF frequency ranges. The portfolio comprises transponders (including glass transponders, disc transponders, keyfobs, PET/PVC transponders, animal and barrel transponders), readers as well as passive and active antennas. The company has manufacturing depth from chip to finished product and offers, in addition to standard products, custom system solutions. Applications lie in the fields of security, animal identification, industry & logistics, barrels & containers, maintenance & testing technology and the semiconductor industry (SEMI). With a production capacity of 35 million transponders, orders from smallest quantities up to international volume orders can be handled. The company, spun off from AEG AG in 1996 with its origins in the AEG Opto- and Vacuum Electronics Division (1989), operates at the Ulm/Germany (headquarters, production, administration) and Vrchlabí/Czech Republic (manufacturing) sites and serves the global market through a network of regional sales partners.
