AEOLUX® Optik GmbH, headquartered in Cologne, supplies professional opticians with individually produced spectacle lenses. The product range includes single vision lenses for distance and near vision, computer/screen workplace lenses and progressive lenses in several product tiers up to personalized high-end designs. Each lens is individually finished in Germany according to the customer's prescription and marked with a proprietary engraving that distinguishes it from standard imported goods. The offering includes coatings such as anti-reflective, hardening, self-tinting and water-repellent functions, as well as properties such as suitability for sports and night driving. Sales and service are provided through selected optician partners; standard processors and chain retailers are not granted supply rights. Production, service and logistics are located in Germany with German contacts. The service promise includes a compatibility guarantee, a warranty of up to three years on material and workmanship defects, and an exchange within six months.
