Aerocycle GmbH, based in Dormagen, was founded in 2001 as Aerocycle Ltd. Cologne – London and specializes in technologies related to the material paper. The focus is on wastewater-free beverage carton recycling, in which paper and plastic fibers are separated and recovered as materials. From processed pulp fibers, the company produces the cellulose insulation material Aerofloc, which is used for thermally insulated, healthy construction in the building industry.
