About Aerofilm Systems
Aerofilm Systems develops and manufactures air caster transport systems for the indoor transport of heavy loads. Air cushions generated by compressed air lift machines and components, allowing loads between 250 kg and 80,000 kg per element to be moved with low friction in all directions; complete systems are designed for loads up to 10,000 tonnes. The portfolio includes neoprene and polyurethane air casters, gap crossers, support plates, control units, drives with radio remote control, lifting cushions (air jacks) as well as modular and integrated air caster systems. Engineering and manufacturing take place in the company's own 1,500 m² production facility in Eindhoven, which also serves as a knowledge centre; materials used are neoprene, polyurethane and stainless steel. Customers come from industries such as transformer manufacturing, semiconductor and cleanroom technology, offshore and shipbuilding, modular residential construction, industrial relocations and entertainment. The family-owned company, founded in 1984, serves customers via the Netherlands, Germany (Aerofilm Systems GmbH, Kleve) and the USA (Aerofilm Systems Inc.).
