About us
Aeschlimann Handels GmbH, based in Meilen ZH, was founded in 2013 by Daniel Aeschlimann and is active in the furniture industry in the fifth generation. The company is a specialist in individually configurable chairs and benches (brand trendSTÜHLE.ch) as well as solid wood luminaires with LED technology (brand STÜCKHOLZ). Its fields of activity include product development, production with partners in Switzerland and nearby countries abroad, distribution to the furniture retail trade, and marketing. Only solid woods such as oak, walnut, larch, cherry and Swiss stone pine are used; the luminaires are manufactured in a specialised joinery on Lake Zurich, and metal parts such as stainless steel canopies and chair underframes come from a metalworker in the Zurich Oberland. Over 90 % of the STÜCKHOLZ range is manufactured in Switzerland, with wood sourced from Switzerland and sustainable forestry wherever possible. Products are sold through the furniture retail trade and contract furnishing, complemented by custom-made products, a spare parts shop and a 3D configurator.
