About aevoloop
aevoloop GmbH is a Leipzig-based chemical company that develops novel performance plastics that are recyclable with low energy consumption at the molecular level via heteroatom-based cleavage points. Plastic waste that is normally incinerated is converted in chemical upcycling into valuable chemical building blocks, from which tailored high-performance materials are built that can match and extend the performance of polyolefins. In addition to polymer development, the company develops the associated recycling processes and operates a pilot plant in the Chemical Triangle of Saxony-Anhalt, where the technology and processes are validated under real-world conditions. The materials are fully recyclable and – in the Saxy Plastics joint project – also bio-based and biodegradable. The target group is the plastics and chemical industries as well as applications in the circular economy.
