AFFELDT Maschinenbau GmbH, based in Neuendorf near Elmshorn, develops and manufactures weighing, counting and packaging machines as well as complete, individually designed packaging lines. The company has been counting, weighing and packaging since 1974; the origins of the firm date back to 1864. The machine program includes, among others, camera counting machines, channel counting machines, weighing machines for piece goods, tube bag machines, PE film bag filling and sealing machines, net clipping and ultrasonic net machines, tray dispensers, as well as crate filling and bag inserting machines. The machines are modular in design and offered in a compact construction, allowing cost-effective integration into existing lines or coupling to existing machines; some series are available in stainless steel version. Packed products include fruit and vegetables, baked goods and confectionery, frozen products, printed matter and other food and non-food items. With around 50 employees at the Neuendorf (Elmshorn) site, the company offers not only manufacturing but also the project planning of complete solutions and comprehensive after-sales service including maintenance, retrofit, remote service and spare parts supply.
