About AFS Fittings Service Achim
AFS Fittings Service Achim has been manufacturing components and connecting elements for piping systems since 1984, including flange couplings, V-flanges and metering flanges, contour-milled tees, block tees with pig guide plates, sweepolets, Y-pieces, branch outlets, heat exchanger plates, thermowells, Venturi tubes, sleeves, ball fittings as well as header base tubes for manifolds. The manufacturing range covers standard parts and customer-specific special parts in single-part and series production at dimensions from 6 to 6,000 mm. Materials processed include heat-resistant and heat-resistant steels, austenitic and ferritic stainless steels, quenched and tempered steels, duplex, super duplex, nickel materials and special alloys, mostly from Western European feedstock held in the company's own warehouse. The company is an approved manufacturer according to AD 2000-W0 and DGRL 2014/68/EU (PED) as well as further inspection societies and plant operators. Non-destructive material testing and production-accompanied material mix-up checks are carried out in-house. Customers come from plant engineering, energy and power plant technology, chemicals and petrochemicals as well as shipbuilding, and work together with classification societies. The headquarters with warehouse and sales is located in Achim near Bremen; another office is located in Hamburg.
