About AFV Beltrame Group
AFV Beltrame Group is a steel manufacturer founded in 1896 and headquartered in Vicenza, Italy. The company produces steel in three electric arc furnaces and processes it in ten rolling mills into rolled products: merchant bars, reinforcing steel, special bar quality steel (SBQ), special profiles and beams/sections for the construction, shipbuilding, excavator and construction machinery industries as well as infrastructure. Production capacity is approximately 3.2 million tonnes per year. The group operates six production plants in Italy, France, Switzerland and Romania, including the subsidiaries Stahl Gerlafingen AG (Switzerland) and Donalam srl (Calarasi, Romania). The company employs around 2,000 people and supplies all European markets as well as the Mediterranean region through its own sales organizations, participations and representatives. Recycling and the circular economy as well as decarbonization and energy efficiency projects are part of the corporate strategy.
