AGA Sanitätsartikel GmbH is an owner-managed family business founded in 1975 by Ute and Manfred Walter, headquartered in Löhne in East Westphalia. The company develops and produces medical furniture for medical practices, hospitals and care facilities: examination and treatment couches, OR and multifunction tables, X-ray tables, MRI patient transport couches, phlebology couches and tilt tables, cardiography couches, examination chairs, transfusion couches, massage benches as well as seating furniture, folding screens and accessories. All products are manufactured at the parent plant in Löhne, partly as variant production tailored to customer requirements using a modular system with special lengths, widths and heights. The frames made of steel and stainless steel receive a disinfectant-resistant coating in RAL colours, while upholstery is covered with synthetic leather; electrically adjustable products use maintenance-free, splash-proof electric motors. The quality management system is certified to DIN EN ISO 13485:2021 and the products carry the CE marking. Around 40 percent of deliveries go into export; sales are made exclusively through the medical supply trade, in Germany, Europe and worldwide.

Quality
A quality management system introduced in 1995 has been certified to DIN EN ISO 13485:2021 since June 2025 (mdc medical device certification GmbH, register no. D1449200004); every medical device receives a declaration of conformity and the CE marking. Spare parts are supplied for 10 years and the warranty is 3 years.
