About us
AGC Interpane, as part of AGC Glass Europe, is one of the world's largest glass manufacturers and finishers. At its Lauenförde site, the company produces functional glazing for global project architecture as well as energy-efficient residential, office and public buildings. Its range of services includes base glass coatings, insulating glass fabrication and special solutions such as Coating on Demand for global project architecture. The product portfolio includes solar control glass (Stopray, ipasol, Stopsol), thermal insulation glass (iplus), safety and fire-resistant glass (Stratobel, Pyrobel), acoustic glass, design glass and building-integrated photovoltaics (ipasolar, SunEwat XL). With the Giga Lites, functionally coated glazing units of up to 19.00 x 3.21 metres with a maximum pane thickness of 20 millimetres are produced. The company supports projects from planning through to fabrication and delivers worldwide.

Materials & Processes
Glass (base glass/float glass)
Base material for all functional glazing, with pane thicknesses up to 20 mm.
Soft coating (solar control/low-E, e.g. Stopray, ipasol, iplus)
Coatings combine solar control, thermal insulation (Ug values below 1.0 W/(m²K)) and colour neutrality.
Argon gas filling
Gas filling in the insulating glass edge seal to improve the thermal insulation value.
Laminating film
Used in laminated safety glass (Stratobel, Pyrobel) for safety and, in the event of fire, protection against fire, smoke and heat.
Ceramic ink (digital/silk-screen printing)
For high-resolution prints and design glass in translucent, opaque or highly reflective versions.
PV cells (building-integrated photovoltaics)
Enable power generation in the facade with the ipasolar and SunEwat XL brands.

Quality
Quality is certified to EN ISO 9001 and EN ISO 14001; in addition, EN ISO 50001 (energy management) and OHSAS 18001 (occupational health and safety) apply. Performance values such as Ug value, sound insulation and solar control are determined by measurement and/or calculation according to EN/DIN standards.
