About Age Suit Germany GmbH
Age Suit Germany GmbH develops and produces teaching aids that allow people to physically experience the limitations caused by ageing or illness. The core product is the behaviour-science-based ageing simulation suit AgeMan®, offered in the Compact, Basic and Premium models. The suit simulates limitations of vision, hearing, gross and fine motor skills, strength and breathing through components such as special films, hearing dampeners, bandages, weights and gloves. Complementary offerings include simulation glasses for eye diseases as well as tremor, tinnitus, dizziness, hemiparesis and shortness-of-breath simulators. Customers include universities, higher education institutions, nursing schools, elderly and long-term care facilities as well as research and development departments of companies such as Munich Airport and BSH Hausgeräte. The company is based in Saarbrücken, where its office and showroom are located. Quality control is carried out by the Meyer-Hentschel Institut of the inventor Dr. Gundolf Meyer-Hentschel.

Components and Simulation Methods
Hearing dampeners
Filter high frequencies from 1,000 Hz upwards and convey age-related hearing loss (presbycusis).
Special films / simulation glasses
Simulate declining vision, altered colour perception and restrictions of the visual field.
Joint and spinal bandages
Reduce the flexion of elbow and knee joints as well as the mobility of the cervical and lumbar spine.
Weights and weight vest (min. 15 kg in total)
Simulate reduced muscle mass, loss of strength and lower endurance capacity.
