About AGOR
AGOR GmbH, headquartered in Hörselgau (Thuringia), develops and produces products made from polymeric and elastomeric materials. In the Automotive business segment, the core competence is the manufacture of sealing systems and visible parts using extrusion and injection molding, including 1-, 2- and 3-component processing. In the Technical Market, the company produces functional parts, hoses and profiles as well as plastic parts for visible areas for the Food and Medical, Building and Construction, and Industry segments. The range of services also includes punching technology, 3D printing (AGOR AM, filaments, services, systems) as well as finishing and coating. In 2019, AGOR was named a Top Innovator – the company supplies spoilers for a new generation of wiper blades with constant application pressure. In the HALFKUNST research project (funded by the Free State of Thuringia, co-financed by EFRE), hybrid components made of aluminum foam cores with a skin of fiber-reinforced thermoplastics were developed for crash-relevant structures. Materials include thermoplastics, elastomers and fiber-reinforced thermoplastics.
