Agrarflug Helilift GmbH & Co. KG is a family business based in Ahlen, now run by the second generation, with a long tradition in aviation. Originally, the company offered a wide range of helicopter services such as power and gas line inspection, heavy-lift flights, forestry work, VIP flights, film and photo flights as well as pilot training and further education. Today, Agrarflug Helilift is a globally operating helicopter company focused on the purchase and sale, rental, maintenance, repair, overhaul and conversion of helicopters, in particular aircraft from Bell Helicopter Textron. Maintenance is carried out in its own state-of-the-art maintenance hangar at the Ahlen site. Services also include the procurement and stocking of more than 250,000 spare parts. With a fleet of over 40 owned helicopters, the company supports international customers, among other things in wildfire fighting in Southern Europe, offshore supply flights, supply flights for mines and heavy industry as well as humanitarian missions for USAID and the United Nations. Since 2015, the company has been certified as a Bell Customer Service Facility (Bell CSF).
