About us
Agro Drisa GmbH Dresden is a family-run recycling company based in Elstra OT Rauschwitz (Saxony) with an operating branch in Bischofswerda. Active in the market for over 30 years, the company dismantles waste electrical and electronic equipment – in cooperation with a recognized workshop for people with disabilities – and recycles cathode ray tubes into raw materials for the glass and ceramics industries. The cathode ray tube recycling produces ready-to-melt cullet (2G25 glass for the container glass industry, 2G5 glass for the ceramics industry), certified as end-of-waste material in accordance with Regulation (EU) No. 1179/2012. In addition, Agro Drisa produces process media for lead smelting as well as landfill substitute construction materials. At the Bischofswerda site, the company is building competencies in battery recycling and is developing processes for recycling lithium-ion batteries in a pilot workshop with laboratory and pilot systems, among other things in cooperation with research institutions such as the Fraunhofer Society. The services are offered throughout Europe.
