Measurement Technology from a Family Business

Ahlborn Mess- und Regelungstechnik GmbH is a family business located in Holzkirchen south of Munich, which develops and manufactures ALMEMO® series data loggers, measuring instruments, reference measuring instruments, and sensors. The core of the system is intelligent, patented connectors with integrated data storage: a single measuring instrument can thus be used for almost all physical, electrical, and chemical measuring quantities simply by changing the sensor – without programming. With the ALMEMO® D6/D7 digital technology, analog sensors and external devices can also be digitized and integrated into measurement networks. Most of the electronic manufacturing is carried out in the branch operation in Ilmenau (Thuringia) using modern manufacturing technology; all products bear the label "Made in Germany". The company operates a DAkkS-accredited calibration laboratory according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018 for temperature, humidity, pressure, flow, and electrical quantities. Areas of application include research and development, industry, environmental protection, building renovation, meteorology, building physics, and monument preservation.
