About AHN GmbH Agrarhandel Nord
AHN GmbH Agrarhandel Nord was founded in 2003 by Karel Soede and Dirk Kerlen and specialises in the marketing of secondary raw materials. The company trades in organic residual products from industry and agriculture, above all high-quality residues from food production such as carrot and apple pomace, pressed pulp, potato press pulp as well as straw and straw pellets. These products are marketed as feed for cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, horses, dogs and cats or as co-ferments for biogas plants in Germany and the Netherlands; in addition, liquid speciality fertilisers (PPL, ASL) and expired foodstuffs are offered. The services include transport with its own vehicle fleet (tank trucks and hook-lift trucks), rental of roll-off containers, storage of dry feed at the headquarters as well as cleaning, sieving and milling with packing into bags or big bags. Marketing takes place directly via cooperatives, traders and purchasing cooperatives. The company is certified to GMP+ B3/B4 and HACCP and has been a certified waste management company since 2008.
