About AIGrow
AIGrow offers a system for automating greenhouse farming based on artificial intelligence. The software monitors climate and cultivation parameters around the clock, automatically detects pests, diseases and plant life cycles, and forecasts harvest time, quality and quantity. Via an IoT framework, the system controls automation actuators, optimizes plant growth as well as resource and labor use, and can instruct local workers in plant care. The cultivation systems operate soil-independently on a hydroponic basis with a closed water circuit and nutrient control; their low power consumption makes them off-grid capable with solar energy, and they tolerate interrupted network connections. Via an Open API, any sensors and actuators can be connected; available hardware is used instead of developing proprietary hardware. The business model is designed for global scaling with local franchise models and includes sustainability KPI monitoring for energy, CO2, water, nutrients and pesticides. Target markets are local food production and specialty crops such as wasabi.
