The Aihua Group, operating under the AiSHi brand, is a technology company founded in 1985 and listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange (603989), headquartered in Yiyang, China. The company develops, manufactures and distributes aluminium electrolytic capacitors in Radial Leaded, SMD, Snap-In and Screw Terminal formats as well as polymer capacitors and metallized polypropylene film capacitors (DC-Link, AC-Filter, EMI, Pulse/Snubber). Annual capacity is approximately 19 billion capacitors and 1 million square feet of aluminium foil. The value chain includes etching and forming of aluminium foil, development of proprietary electrolytes in the company's own research laboratory, and the construction of production machines in its own equipment plant. More than 5,000 employees work at manufacturing sites in Hunan, Sichuan and Jiangsu. The European market is served by AiSHi GmbH with a sales office in Erlangen. Customer industries include, among others, lighting, consumer electronics, energy, automotive, home appliances, air conditioning and aerospace.
