The Partner for Optoelectronics
AIM Micro Systems GmbH, based in Triptis in Thuringia, implements optoelectronic product and process developments up to market maturity in the fields of medical technology and sensor technology. The company covers the entire value chain – from design through prototyping to validation and series production of miniaturized and complex modules, including management of the entire supply chain. Production takes place under cleanroom conditions (ISO5 and ISO7) in the area of Packaging Solutions (wafer dicing of silicon, ceramics and glass up to 300 mm, chip bonding, wire bonding with gold and aluminum, passivation, plasma activation, laser engraving) as well as in the area of Optical Solutions (micro-assembly with µm precision, assembly of conventional optics up to Ø 50 mm, camera modules with wide-angle technology, replication of micro-optics, MEMS/MOEMS, active alignment down to the nm range). Production covers samples, small series and volume productions of over 1 million units per year. With more than 15 years of industry expertise in optoelectronics and micro-assembly, AIM supplies customers from medical technology and sensor technology, cooperates with TU Ilmenau and the Ernst-Abbe University of Applied Sciences Jena, and is certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015.
