AIRCRAFT Kompressorenbau GmbH was founded in 1992 by Klaus Hütter and Kilian Stürmer as a machine wholesaler with factory representation. Initially, the focus was on the development and production of reciprocating air compressors; today the company offers solutions for a wide range of applications with modular and flexibly configurable screw compressors (belt-driven and direct-driven, ACS series) and is Austria's only compressor manufacturer. In addition to its own compressed air technology, AIRCRAFT distributes machines for metalworking and woodworking, welding technology, cleaning and workshop technology under the brands Aircraft, Optimum, Metallkraft, Holzkraft, Holzstar, Schweisskraft, Rehm, Unicraft and Cleancraft via approx. 300 machine specialist dealers in Austria. The portfolio includes, among other things, fiber laser cutting systems for sheet and tube up to 60 kW, CNC milling machines, welding robot stations as well as compressor accessories and compressed air treatment. Target groups are trade, industry, specialist retail and demanding DIY enthusiasts. The company is headquartered in Hohenzell in Upper Austria; services such as maintenance contracts, spare parts supply and compressed air demand calculations round out the offering.
