About Airlife Swiss AG
Airlife Swiss AG develops and distributes air purification and air disinfection systems for critical environments such as hospitals, cleanrooms, the food processing and pharmaceutical industries, as well as for offices, hotels, educational institutions and gastronomy. The systems remove mechanical (aerosols), microbiological and chemical pollutants from the air. The basis is a patented photocatalytic filtration technology developed in collaboration with universities and tested by independent laboratories, comprising a prefilter (M5-M6), an aerosol charging unit, a polarized photocatalytic combination filter, UV-A emitters (320-400 nm) and an adsorptive-catalytic combination filter. The product lines include standalone units (SA-Line), in-duct solutions for ventilation ducts (C-Line), laminar airflow ceilings (LAM-Line) and kitchen exhaust air purification (KL-Line, K-Line). The headquarters is located in Baar (Switzerland); production is carried out by VAMMI srl in Mezzolombardo (Italy).

Technology & Processes
Photocatalytic filtration technology
Patented multi-stage technology for removing mechanical, microbiological and chemical pollutants with minimal air resistance, ozone-free and suitable for 24/7 operation.
Prefilter M5-M6
Captures large dust and ash particles, filtration class M5-M6 (EN 1822, EN 799).
Aerosol charging unit
Charges 99.8% of aerosols from 0.1-100 μm at linear velocities up to 4 m/s in a symmetric electrostatic field.
Polarized photocatalytic combination filter
Captures particles down to 0.1 μm, achieves 99.9% filtration efficiency and oxidizes organic compounds into CO2, water and nitrogen.
UV-A emitters (320-400 nm)
Provide the energy to activate the photocatalyst without generating ozone.
Adsorptive-catalytic combination filter
Adsorbs pollutants on a catalytically active, modified carbon sorbent that regenerates itself during operation.
