ait-deutschland GmbH, with its product brand NOVELAN, develops and produces heat pumps for residential and commercial applications at its headquarters in Kasendorf (Bavaria). The portfolio includes air/water heat pumps (including Helox, LADV, Jabbah), brine/water heat pumps (including WSV, SICV, SIC, SI), domestic hot water heat pumps (BW-S, WIB, ZLW) as well as large-scale heat pumps for industry and major projects (SIP, LAP, Sculptor, Naos). The roots lie in Siemens heating technology, with the first field tests as early as 1973; the Kasendorf plant was founded in 1998. The site features a 1,600 m² Technology Center with 26 test stations, 6 climate chambers and 2 acoustic chambers for research, development and series testing. Products are distributed through a three-tier sales channel via wholesalers to trade contractors, property developers, the prefabricated housing industry and housing associations; in addition, the company offers factory customer service, commissioning, maintenance, sound calculations according to DIN ISO 9613-2 and digital remote control solutions.
