About AJK
AJK n.v. (Atelier Janssen Kaulille) is a Belgian manufacturer of waste containers, waste presses, container systems and transport solutions. At its own metal workshop in Bocholt (Kaulille), the company manufactures open, closed and special containers, press containers, self-compacting containers, stationary presses, swap-body and hooklift systems, trailers, tippers and tipper semi-trailers. The constructions are made of steel and Hardox wear-resistant steel; special solutions include insulated tipper semi-trailers for asphalt transport at up to approx. 200 °C, which are almost hermetically sealed and have a tare weight of 7350 kg. In addition to its product range, the company offers individual custom manufacturing (maatwerk) from drawing through engineering to assembly. Six mobile service teams in Belgium and the Netherlands carry out maintenance, repairs, statutory inspections and complete overhauls of waste presses; rental and used equipment are also offered. With the IoT platform AJK Remote Access, presses are monitored via telemetry, fill-level monitoring and alarm messages.
