About Akku Power
Akku Power GmbH was founded in 1991 in Fellbach near Stuttgart and is today an owner-managed mid-sized company headquartered in Schorndorf, Baden-Württemberg. The company develops and produces custom 360° battery system solutions for OEM customers across the entire product life cycle: from consulting, development and prototype construction through series production and certification to logistics, after-sales service and recycling. It manufactures battery packs for all common voltage classes from 3.6 V to 48 V as well as high-voltage systems (300 V, 500 V), chargers, switched-mode power supplies, analyzers, adapters and home storage solutions. Lithium-ion, LiFePO4 and Ni-MH technologies are used, along with branded battery cells from Panasonic, Samsung and LG; electronics manufacturing is carried out using an in-house SMD assembly line. With around 200 employees at four sites in Europe – production sites in Schorndorf (DE) and Liblin (CZ) as well as sales offices in France and Italy – Akku Power supplies industries such as powertools, gardentools, e-mobility, heavy duty, industry, robotics, lifestyle, home storage and security. Production takes place exclusively at European sites.
