About the Basler Wymärt

Akos & Partnerinnen AG, based in Basel, organises the Basler Wymärt, a public wine fair held in the Markthalle next to Basel SBB railway station. The event takes place twice a year and brings together wine producers and wine merchants who present and offer their wines for tasting at stands. The autumn 2025 edition counted 49 exhibitors at 45 stands; the autumn 2026 edition lists 48 exhibitors, including 28 producers and 20 merchants. In addition to tastings, the offering includes street food in the Markthalle as well as a large selection of organic wines. The admission fee is refunded with a wine order of 100 francs or more. The fair sees itself as a marketplace with a family atmosphere rather than a purely trade-oriented event.
