About AKP
AKP is a family-owned company based in Meiningen and a manufacturer of worktops and splashback cladding in Germany. The product range includes worktops and accessories for kitchen and furniture manufacturing made of natural stone, ceramic, Dekton, quartz stone, Silestone, laminate, solid wood (including birch and acacia), HI-MACS mineral material, glass, stainless steel and epoxy resin. In addition to made-to-measure production, the offering includes a measuring and installation service as well as a full-service package for the trade. In the Rohrer Berg industrial estate in Meiningen, a new stone fabrication facility for high-quality natural stone worktops was built with an investment volume of around 13 million euros. The site also includes a training and exhibition centre. The company supplies kitchen manufacturing, the furniture industry and commercial construction in Germany. Further product areas include thermally formed mineral materials, splashback cladding with LED technology, and custom River Tables made of solid wood with epoxy resin.
