About Der Hörladen
Akustik Schweiz Der Hörladen AG is an owner-managed hearing acoustics specialist store in Arbon on Lake Constance, which has been run since 2005 by Heike Birnbaum Lang and Oliver Lang-Birnbaum. The company offers hearing systems from all nine leading manufacturers and provides brand-neutral advice. Its range of services includes hearing tests and audiometry (pure-tone audiogram, impedance measurement, video otoscopy), hearing tests with certificates for sailing licences, crane operators, railway employees and pilot licences, as well as the fitting of hearing systems according to the SmartCare concept with teleaudiology and six years of long-term service. In the in-house laboratory, the earmould manufactory, custom-made ear moulds and hearing protection products are produced; in addition, repairs and maintenance of hearing aids of all brands are carried out on site. Further specialisms are paediatric audiology for children and adolescents, wireless microphones and FM systems as well as alerting systems. The team of six serves customers in Switzerland, particularly in the cantons of Thurgau, St. Gallen and Appenzell.
