Akustik Union GmbH is a specialist provider of room acoustics based in Stockstadt am Main. The company was founded by experienced acoustics professionals and offers full-service support along the entire project workflow: from acoustic analyses and measurements to the development of room acoustic concepts, design and detailed planning, on-site surveying, as well as delivery and installation of its own acoustic products. At the core is the AKUSorb, a TÜV-certified multilayer absorber for walls, ceilings and room partitioning that absorbs sound in the speech range between 125 and 600 Hz. In addition, AKUFire for enhanced fire protection requirements (A1/A2) and AKUFly for thermoactive, sound-hard ceilings are offered. Fields of application include open-plan offices, conference rooms, classrooms, industrial halls and rooms with special hygienic or fire protection requirements. In projects, AkustikUnion also integrates workplace design topics such as lighting, air conditioning and ergonomics with leading partner companies. The guiding principle is: visually and spatially connected, yet structured in terms of room acoustics.
