Specialist for room acoustics made of wood
akustikplus GmbH & Co. KG, based in Stephanskirchen in the Bavarian Alpine foothills, is a specialised company for the development, manufacture and distribution of acoustically effective products made of wood and wood-based materials. The portfolio includes slotted acoustic panels (smartline, slimline), micro-perforated large-format acoustic boards (proline) and felt panels with MDF slats on PET absorbers (designline). Production takes place on specially developed CNC drilling centres, including micro-perforation with up to 294,118 holes per square metre; with the Akustographie drilling process, lettering and typography can also be realised. Materials used include MDF carrier boards, solid wood veneers (including oak, silver fir, walnut, maple), CPL, melamine and PET fibre with recycled content. In addition to standard products, the company offers custom manufacturing, acoustic consulting, on-site acoustic measurements and planning tools such as an acoustic calculator. Reference projects range from the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg to schools and offices to public buildings in more than 32 countries. Since 2021, akustikplus has been part of the HAMBERGER Industriewerke Group; the entire production was relocated to Stephanskirchen in 2023.

Silver fir (solid wood veneer)
Light veneer surface for smartline and proline products in education and residential projects.
American walnut (solid wood veneer)
Dark veneer surface for acoustic boards and panels.
Canadian maple (solid wood veneer)
Light veneer surface for the proline acoustic boards.
CPL (Continuous Pressure Laminate)
Robust resin surface with fire class B-s2,d0 for acoustic boards.
Melamine
Decorative surface finish for smartline panels in colour and wood decors.
PET fibre (60% recycled content, PVC-free)
Carrier material of the designline felt panels with integrated absorption felt.
Wood fibre absorber
Integrated natural sound absorber and insulation material in smartline and designline elements.
Proofire (fire protection material)
Non-combustible material for acoustic elements with extended fire protection requirements.
Akustographie
Specially developed drilling process for producing acoustically effective lettering and typography.
