About Akzentlicht Matrix
Akzentlicht Matrix was founded in Düsseldorf in 2008 and is one of the first manufacturers to consistently rely on surface LED technology. The company develops and manufactures lighting for the project business, organised in four specialised brands: Akzentlicht for circulation areas in public and commercial buildings, Revive for luminaire refurbishment, SIKI for hotel and restaurant lighting, and Gewerklicht for project-based manufacturing (engineering-to-order). In Düsseldorf, concepts, design, custom solutions and legally compliant refurbishment kits are created; the company also operates its own 3D printing production here, which is used to produce customised brackets for luminaire refurbishment. Series production of the luminaires runs on two in-house production lines in China. The services also include modifying luminaires with sensors as well as single or central battery systems, photometric measurements in the integrating sphere (Ulbricht sphere) and new declarations of conformity according to the EU Blue Guide 2022. From 2026, the SIKI Europe brand is to be launched on the European market.
