AL-KO Geräte GmbH, headquartered in Kötz (Bavaria), is part of the AL-KO KOBER GROUP founded in 1931 and develops, produces and distributes in the Gardentech segment a broad range of garden equipment. This includes petrol and battery-powered lawn mowers, lawn tractors up to zero-turn models, robotic mowers of the Robolinho® series with Vision and RTK technology, lawn aerators, brush cutters, chainsaws, hedge trimmers, shredders, water pumps, snow blowers as well as accessories and smart garden solutions with app connectivity. Production takes place, among other locations, in Austria ("Made in Austria"); AL-KO Production Austria GmbH is certified to ISO 9001:2015. The distribution network includes specialist dealers and over 300 service partners in Austria. The sales company Schwabengeräte GmbH (today AL-KO Geräte GmbH) was founded in 1958; since 2014, the brand solo® by AL-KO has complemented the portfolio following the acquisition of solo Kleinmotoren GmbH.
