About alabasta Naturfarben
alabasta Naturfarben is a manufacturer of consistently ecological paints based in Siedenburg (Lower Saxony). The company was founded in 1996 by Reinhard von Stenglin and has its origins in the natural paint workshop "Leim und Kreide" (Glue and Chalk), started in 1985. Production covers professional wall coatings on a natural base: casein and clay paints (wall paints such as Raumweiß), brush and roller plasters, clay finish plasters made from clay and clay-related earths, primers as well as earth and mineral pigments. The products are free of solvents as well as VOC and AOX, fully declared and vapour-permeable; the clay products remain water-sensitive and are reversibly removable. Customers include specialist retailers, painting and processing companies as well as the natural building materials sector. As of 1 October 2016, Stefan Fuhrmann took over the entire alabasta range and integrated it into the company ubitec; since then, production, shipping and sales have again been under one roof. The team consists of four employees, including application engineering and accounting.
