Alan Electronics GmbH was founded in 1989 as a partner of the international MIDLAND Group (formerly CTE, Italy) and since 2001 has been the umbrella organization of the two traditional brands Albrecht and Midland, which originally began as small family businesses. The company distributes and develops a broad product range in the field of communications and radio technology: CB radios, PMR446 and DMR446 two-way radios, radio scanners, amateur radio and business radio devices, marine radios, tour guide systems for museums and guided tours, digital and internet radios, radio adapters, loudspeakers, Bluetooth communication systems for motorcyclists and skiers, dashcams, action, security and truck cameras as well as webcams. The Albrecht brand has stood for proven PMR446 two-way radios for leisure and professional use, CB and amateur radio, and high-quality audio devices for more than 40 years; Midland complements the portfolio with radio technology and modern Bluetooth communication systems. The range comprises around 665 items, from handheld radios to antennas and accessories through to complete carrying case sets. The company employs approximately 30 staff in Germany and is represented at two locations: at its headquarters in Dreieich near Frankfurt and at its operating facility in Trittau near Hamburg. In addition to distribution, Alan Electronics offers a repair and exchange service as well as a customer and dealer shop.
