About Albers Brauerei

Albers Brauerei is a microbrewery (nano-brewery) located on the grounds of the Alte Försterei in Gädebehn, a district of Crivitz in the Sternberger Seenlandschaft lake region of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Owner and brewer Hannes Albers brews beers by hand there in small batches from selected ingredients such as malt, water, hops and yeast. The range includes the two core varieties Hellmut (Helles) and Hühnerschreck (American Pale Ale) as well as rotating seasonal specialty beers such as Oberförster (Pilsner), Weltenbummler (West Coast Pilsner), Hendrik (Schwarzbier/black beer), Robbin (West Coast Pale Ale) and Robbert (East Coast Pale Ale). The beers are produced exclusively in limited quantities and offered in the brewery's own on-site sales outlet, which is open on the first and third Friday of each month. Sustainability is a central concern of the brewery: from raw material purchasing and ecological resources to the reuse of spent grain as feed for free-range pigs.
