About Albert Balzer AG

Albert Balzer AG, based in Dornach (Canton of Solothurn), has been manufacturing temperature measurement technology since 1924: resistance thermometers (Pt100/Pt1000) for the range from -200 °C to +850 °C, thermocouples up to +1700 °C, as well as thermowells and accessories such as screw fittings, process connections and connection heads. The products are produced as one-off pieces, custom orders or series production; demanding versions with special materials such as tantalum or Hastelloy are also possible. The offering is complemented by factory calibrations in the measurement range from -20 °C to +170 °C in the company's own laboratory, for both newly ordered and existing sensors. The solutions are used in the chemical industry, the pharmaceutical industry, industrial automation, mechanical and apparatus engineering, building services engineering as well as science and research. Via the shops Sensorshop24.ch and datenlogger24.ch, the company also sells measurement and control technology as well as data loggers. The company is certified to ISO 9001:2015 and holds the certification SEV 21 ATEX 4511.
