Albert Fezer Maschinenfabrik GmbH (FEZER) develops and manufactures ergonomic handling equipment in the field of vacuum technology in Altbach. The product portfolio includes vacuum lifting devices of the VacuBoy and VacuGiant series for sheets and plates up to 40 tonnes, vacuum tube lifters such as VacuQuicklift and VacuPowerlift for loads up to 300 kg, coil lifters for slit strip up to 10 tonnes as well as custom solutions for glass, wood, sacks, stones, drums and pipes. The range is complemented by in-house developed crane systems – pillar and wall slewing cranes, ceiling slewing cranes and overhead rail systems based on an in-house aluminium rail system. Design is carried out with 3D CAD and FEM calculation; the systems are assembled, commissioned and serviced. Customers come from industries such as automotive, sheet metal/metal, aerospace, glass, wood, logistics, chemicals/pharmaceuticals as well as wind and solar energy; reference customers include Hoogovens and Airbus. Founded in 1933 and family-run in its third generation, the company has been certified to DIN EN 9001 since 1998 and sells its products worldwide through representatives.
