About Albert Kempf

Albert Kempf GmbH u. Co. KG Mützenfabrik was founded in 1920 in Teunz and produced caps, berets and hats for over a century. The headwear went through a manufacturing process thought out down to the last detail, made from selected, high-quality textile materials and manufactured in Germany. Customers included the Bundeswehr, procurement agencies, fire departments, authorities, administrations and public offices, security services as well as transport operators and transport companies; the customers are distributed worldwide. In spring 2023, Albert Kempf ceased production. The manufacture of headwear as well as large parts of the patterns, forms and machines were taken over by Erich Fritzsch KG – Mützenfabrikation & Stickerei in Bebra, which has existed since 1982 and can produce nearly all previous caps, berets and hats.
