About us
A. Thielen Werkzeug- und Maschinenbau was founded in 1988 by owner Albert Thielen in Dingdorf (Eifel) and specialises in special machinery construction, jig and fixture building, toolmaking as well as steel and stainless steel construction. The company manufactures special machines, jigs and assemblies – mostly as one-off pieces – for customers from automation, forming and foundry technology, the dairy and brewing industries, as well as door, staircase and fireplace stove construction. The value chain includes design using modern CAD software, machining in single-part and small-batch production, welded constructions in steel and stainless steel, and assembly; power transmission in the machines is hydraulic, pneumatic, electric or mechanical. In addition to its own production, the company develops and sells forestry technology, including log splitters, hydraulic mounting winches and a pipe drilling fixture that are used worldwide. Reference customers include Arla Foods, Bitburger Brewery, STIHL and Tesla Grohmann Automation. Sales are exclusively ex-works.
