About ALBILEX
For over 60 years, ALBILEX has been developing and producing cleaning and disinfection products as well as chemical specialty products for the pre- and post-treatment of metallic surfaces. The headquarters with development and production is located in Usingen in the Taunus region. Founded in 1957 as Otto Albishausen & Co. KG, the focus was initially on cleaning agents for the German Federal Railways and other European state railways, in which field a market-dominating position was established over several decades. Over the years, the product range expanded to include cleaning and disinfection products for municipal water supply, pipeline construction, swimming pools, buildings, and the jewellery and electronics industries. Specialty products include tarnish protection and passivation of metals as well as products for the cleaning and disinfection of drinking water systems. In 2015, the company was renamed ALBILEX GmbH & Co. KG; sales are handled by staff at headquarters, stockkeeping trade partners and representatives abroad.
