About ALBROMET
ALBROMET GmbH is a supplier of aluminium bronzes and high-strength copper alloys based in Geretsried. Founded in 1994, the company supplies the copper-based materials as semi-finished products, cut to customer dimensions, or as finished parts according to drawing. In its own sawing center, cut-offs are produced with tolerances of typically +1 mm; CNC manufacturing includes turning, milling, drilling, surface grinding, micro shot peening, engraving and polishing from a quantity of 1 up to large series. Since 2005, a specialty of the company has been tube bending tools such as bending mandrels, wiper dies and bending dies made of aluminium bronze, tool steel or engineering plastic, including CAD design and collision checking. Further product areas are bushings, plain bearings and slide plates, partly with pins made of graphite or PTFE inserted for self-lubricating applications. Customers come from mechanical engineering, tool and mold making, forming and tube technology, plastics technology, food technology, automotive and construction machinery engineering, as well as welding, electrical, energy, oil and gas technology and medical technology. Around 20 employees work at the Geretsried site; sales are handled through a Europe-wide dealer network serving Germany, Europe and worldwide.
