About ALCO Filters
Founded in 1973, ALCO Filters is a European aftermarket filter manufacturer headquartered in Latsia (Nicosia), Cyprus. The plant produces air, oil, fuel, cabin, urea, battery, transmission and hydraulic filters for passenger cars (European and Asian vehicles), light vans, commercial vehicles, construction machinery and stationary engines. The range comprises more than 3,100 filter types, with over 70 new types added each year. Production starts from raw materials rather than prefabricated components: filter canisters are formed from cold-rolled steel on press lines, end caps are made from tin-plated metal, and gaskets and membranes are produced from special rubber compounds; for ECO filters, adhesive-free infrared direct welding is used. According to the company, raw materials are sourced from European suppliers. Four distribution centres in Cyprus, Germany, Greece and the United Kingdom supply customers in more than 50 countries across Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
