About Alfelder Kunststoffwerke Herm. Meyer GmbH

Alfelder Kunststoffwerke Herm. Meyer GmbH manufactures thermoformed parts, die-cut items and suppository casting packaging made of plastic. The product range includes sales displays, self-service blister, bottle and ampoule packaging as well as sorting inserts, trays and tablet packs for the pharmaceutical, cosmetic and food sectors and other industries. The mouldings are produced by vacuum or compressed-air thermoforming from films such as rigid PVC, polyester, polystyrene, ABS and laminated films with a forming area of maximum 1400 x 700 mm and a draw depth of up to 200 mm. An in-house pattern and toolmaking operation enables the development of customer-specific products; a focus is on small series, with production also carried out in medium to large series. The thermoformed parts and die-cut items are produced at the company's own branch plant in Ober-Mörlen near Bad Nauheim; the main plant is located in Alfeld (Leine). In addition, the company offers contract filling of suppositories.
