About Alformet

Alformet GmbH is a specialized contract manufacturer of continuous fiber-reinforced thermoplastic composite tubes and profiles (CFRTP) located in Dörth, Rhineland-Palatinate. The company was founded in 2020 by three experienced engineers with backgrounds in the semi-finished tube and lightweight construction industries. Production is carried out using laser-assisted Tape Winding (LATW) with in-situ consolidation – without autoclave – on four winding machines with a maximum part length of 4 m and a maximum diameter of 2000 mm. Matrix materials used include PEEK, PAEK, PEKK, TPI, PPS, PEI, PA, PE and PP, reinforced with carbon, glass, aramid, basalt and metal fibers. The quality management system is certified according to EN9100:2018 (AS9100 Rev D / ISO 9001:2015); every part is delivered with dimensional inspection, process data, certificate of conformity and inspection report. With direct access to the machine and process know-how of the AFPT Group, Alformet covers the complete range of services from design consulting through prototype and development manufacturing to series production (High-Mix/Low-Volume). Customer industries include aerospace, e-mobility, hydrogen technology, automotive and general industry.
