Alfred Vesely Timber-Export e.U. (website brand AV-Timber GmbH) is an Austrian timber merchant and exporter of sawn timber from Austrian forest regions. The product range includes spruce, fir, larch and beech. The value chain covers timber purchasing and procurement from Austrian forestry, chemical wood treatment (possible year-round; in Austria usually April to November), covered storage in its own port warehouse in Koper (Slovenia) for protection against weather and UV exposure, and loading with slings. Transport to the customer is carried out with an own cargo ship, enabling fixed scheduling, punctual delivery and control of loading operations. Upon request, a free timber inspection by a sworn broker (Sensale) of the Vienna Commodity Exchange is offered.
