About AMC
AMC (Algemeen Metaal Constructiebedrijf NV) is an internationally active steel construction company based in Lokeren, Belgium. Since 1955, the company has manufactured, designed and assembled large, heavy and complex steel constructions for production plants – from project management and engineering through in-house manufacturing and industrial piping construction to assembly, maintenance and planned shutdowns. Products are manufactured in steel and stainless steel, including blast furnace gas lines, zinc kettles, chimneys up to 75 meters, conveying systems, conveyor belts, pressure equipment as well as vessels and wear parts. Manufacturing is performed to EN 1090-2 up to the highest execution class EXC4; welding is qualified to DIN EN ISO 3834-3 and AD 2000 HP0 / PED Module G. Customers come from the steel, non-ferrous metals, chemical, food and paper industries, waste incineration, energy supply, ports and shipping. Together with its sister company IAB Industrieanlagenbau Senftenberg GmbH, AMC is expanding the German manufacturing and assembly capacity.
