Nesselwang (Allgäu)New on Amplifa
Third-generation family-owned company
Allgaier Kunststoffverarbeitung GmbH & Co. KG is a medium-sized, third-generation family-owned company based in Nesselwang in the Allgäu region. The company specializes in special injection molding processes, with a focus on 2K sandwich injection molding of thermoplastics; other pillars are compact injection molding, multi-component technology (composite injection molding), chemical and physical foaming (TSG, MuCell), the gas-assist process, and injection-compression molding. Nearly all engineering thermoplastics are processed, including glass-fiber-reinforced grades up to 60 % and flame retardants, and increasingly recycled and bio-based polymers. The service portfolio covers project management, CAD/CAM design with fill and warpage simulation, in-house toolmaking, injection molding production in small to large series, assembly and finishing, as well as logistics with 3,500 pallet storage spaces. Customers come from the household appliances, rehabilitation and medical, sports, vehicle equipment, office furniture, office accessories, and mechanical engineering industries. The company looks back on 115 years of history and is certified to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 50001:2018.

Materials and injection molding processes
Engineering thermoplastics
Nearly all engineering thermoplastics are processed, tailored to appearance, haptics, mechanics and cost.
Glass-fiber-reinforced thermoplastics
Reinforcement with up to 60 % glass fiber for high strength and stiffness.
Thermoplastics with flame retardants
Flame-retardant materials for applications with corresponding safety requirements.
Recycled polymers
Recycled polymers are used wherever possible, among other things as the core component in sandwich injection molding.
Bio-based polymers
Bio-based polymers are used wherever possible as part of environmental management.
Compact injection molding
Standard process for engineering plastic parts in small to large series.
Sandwich injection molding (2K)
The core component is enclosed by the skin component; enables thick-walled parts without sink marks, reinforcement at reduced raw material costs, or virgin skin material with a recycled core.
Composite injection molding / multi-component technology
Combination of different materials and colors, functional integration as well as hard/soft combinations with soft-touch surfaces.
TSG process (chemical foaming)
Chemically foamed moldings with a compact outer skin for thick-walled parts with large wall thickness transitions.
Gas-assist injection molding
Internally hollowed, rod-shaped articles with fewer sink marks, less warpage and shorter cycle times.
MuCell process (physical foaming)
Physical foaming with nitrogen or CO2 for fine foam structures, weight savings and low-stress parts.
Injection-compression molding
Near-pressure-free injection into a not fully closed mold for lower-stress, lower-warpage parts.
