The company was founded in 2013, when Advent International acquired the Coating Resins Division of Cytec Industries, and has been part of PTT Global Chemical (Thailand) since 2021. The portfolio comprises liquid resins and additives, energy-curing and powder resins, waterborne systems, crosslinkers (amino crosslinkers), phenolic resins, alkyd and acrylic resins as well as urethane specialties for applications on wood, metal, plastic and other surfaces. Key markets are Mobility and Transportation, Packaging & Consumer Goods as well as Construction & Infrastructure, including architectural, industrial, protective and specialty coatings as well as printing inks. With around 4,000 employees, 33 production sites, 23 research and technology support centers and five joint ventures, allnex serves customers in more than 100 countries.
